#3 Top Rated Seller Tip-The 2nd Most Important Thing I Did to Increase Sales

The 2nd most important thing I did to Increase sales on eBay was to end auctions on different days and at different times.
When I started selling online everyone said the most traffic was online on Saturday & Sunday evenings so the best time to end auctions were on Saturday & Sunday evenings. I did this for several years. I read an article that said to end your auctions at different days & times. I started ending auctions all day long, 7 days a week. Sales skyrocketed almost immediately.
The best time to end an auction is when there are interested buyers & you never know when that is. Testing will help you decide when to end your auctions. I have looked at my data for the last few years and it shows the best time for me is on Wednesday's. Doesn't make sense but that is what it shows.  Do I end all my auctions on Wednesday now? No, but I do tend to end more on Wednesday than on other days.
Of course, the ending times & dates are not near as important for me as they used to be because I seldom have an auction end with more than one bid  any more. Why do I still do auctions?
When I don't do auctions my sales fall. Auctions are driving traffic to my store items. I also have a Buy It Now price on all my auctions & more of the items sale using Buy It Now than bidding on the auction. I tried the Fixed-Price 30 listings for a month several months ago with no no auctions. It was a disaster. I have not done well with Fixed-Price 30 listings. About the only time I use them now is when I have a lot of one item to sale. Your results may vary. One thing you must remember is we are all selling different items. My results actually mean very little for you. You must figure out what works the best for you & the items you are selling.
Later!
