The United States Postal Service provides FREE Priority Mail shipping supplies. This includes boxes, envelopes, stickers & forms. You can order these on line at usps.com or pick them up at your local post office. If you have been picking these supplies up at your local post office you might want to check on line to see what is available because I have found, in the past, that not all post offices offer all that is available.  They used to offer FREE tape that was one of the best tapes I have ever used. They no longer offer that to the general public due to the amount that was used for non-postal purposes, BUT it is still available. Each postal station receives rolls on a regular basis. If you are a regular customer & mail a lot they may share a roll with you. It never hurts to ask. 
Be sure to use the USPS supplies for what they are intended. Some people used to turn the boxes inside out & use them for non-Priority shipping. Most, if not all of the boxes, now have printing on the inside identifying them  as Priority Mail boxes. If you used to use the FREE supplies & have not in a while it is a good idea to check out what is now available. They now offer flat-rate boxes in 3 sizes that can save you a considerable amount of money if you ship heavy objects or ship long distances.
