Did PayPal Hire My 10-yr Old Grandson?
I am beginning to wonder if PayPal has hired my 10-yr old grandson to design their new Packing Slip. Below is a scan of a PayPal packing slip as it looked up until this week.
This week PayPal started using a new packing slip. This is how it looks.
I found several problems with this new packing slip.
#1. It is ugly. Notice that the boxes are not even aligned.
#2. It is too large. Note that the old packing slip shown above is for 3 items. The new packing slip is for only one item but it is one inch longer than the old packing slip. I have always printed my packing slip on one end of a standard 81/2 x 11 piece of paper and printed my shipping label on the other end. I would cut the shipping label off and attach it to the outside of the package. The packing slip would go inside the package. One sheet of paper and I am through. The new packing slip takes up so much room that I now have to print the shipping label on a separate piece of paper. I am now using 2 sheets of paper where I used to only use one. PayPal's parent company, eBay, touts it's eBay Green Team. Maybe the word hasn't gotten down to the powers that be at PayPal
#3. Note that the new PayPal packing slip has a line for shipping insurance. Last I heard Paypal's parent company, eBay did not allow sellers to charge the buyer for shipping insurance. Why have a line for Shipping Insurance when it is not allowed?
I started this post by asking if maybe PayPal had hired my 10-yr old grandson. After further thought, I am pretty sure they did not. I think he could do a better job. After all, he will be 11 this Sunday.

I couldn't agree with you more. I do a lot of sales from my website as well as eBay and this has really put a damper on my morning prep for shipping. I find it hard to get past all those lines.
I emailed Paypal and complained. They responded by telling me to clean out my cookies and delete my history. I feel insulted and slighted by their "support" staff.

Is it legal to hire a new employee without interviewing all internal applicants first?

Sometimes a company just feels like it needs some "new blood" or a fresh approach in a particular position. Some positions also require particular education elements or prior experience.

Assets are listed on the balance sheet.Probably the most accepted accounting definition of asset is the one used by the International Accounting Standards Board.
