Hey You! Wanna buy a Diamond!
eBay has just opened what they call the Diamond Ring Designer Below is a screenshot of the front page of the Diamond Ring Designer which can be accessed by Clicking Here
It says you can choose your diamond and favorite setting from their featured collection. When I clicked on the Design your ring now button it carried me to the page shown here:
I was surprised to see it showed 16,928 diamonds available. To help you select the diamond of your choice you go to the panel on your left and first choose the shape you desire. 10 different shapes are available. Then there are slider bars for you to Choose Price Range, Carat, Color Clarity and Cut. BTW, the prices range from $257 up to a whopping $1,321,293 so it seems they have about all of the bases covered when it comes to prices.
I chose a shape, a price range and a carat. this carried me to this page:
As you can see this narrowed my selection down to 6 diamonds, When I selected one of the 6 and clicked on view I arrived at a normal eBay lisitng as shown here.
If I had so desired I could have clicked on the Buy this diamond button to complete the transaction. Seems to me like a pretty simple process if you know about diamonds and want to see a wide range that are available to buy. I just think if I was spending $187,884 for a product I would want to see it first.
