#44 Top Rated Seller Tip-Print Your Postage Online

If you are selling online and use the USPS to ship your packages you should ship your labels online. There are several reasons for doing this but the main reason is that it can save you money on some services like Delivery Confirmation, Signature Confirmation, and some International shipments.

The USPS has five different options for printing postage online. These are:
1) Click-n-Ship, the postal services own online printing service

2) eBay  which includes PayPal

3) Stamps.com

4) Endicia.com

5) Pitney Bowes

You can find a link to all of these with an explanation of printing postage online by CLICKING HERE

I have used Click-n-Ship, PayPal, & Endicia. I can highly recommend Endicia I have used both the Windows version and the Mac version for years. The clerks at the post office I use tell me that they have trouble with all of the online postage brought in except for mine. Their own Click-n-Ship service was not showing up in confirmation services a few weeks ago. I later found that you had to enter a number(I believe it was 94) in the search box before entering the confirmation number to get it to work. I found both the Click-n-ship and eBay service slow and hard to use. I have never used either the Stamps.com service or the Pitney Bowes service. I have heard from other users that the Stamps.com customer service is terrible. I have personally never talked to anyone that has used the Pitney-Bowes service.

The USPS Click-in-Ship and the eBay service are both free. Stamps.com offers a free service if you print only packages sold on eBay, otherwise there is a charge. To get this free service you must go to a special page. It can be found by CLICKING HERE Endicia & Pitney Bowes both charge a monthly fee.

I must point out that with all services you must pay for the postage.

Do you print your own postage? If so, please share your experiences with the various services in the comments section below.
