#50 Top Rated Seller Tip-Do NOT us the term "Free Shipping"

Ina Steiner with Auctionbytes had an interesting interview with Tom Critchlow today about Google feeds. In this interview he pointed out that all Caps in your title could keep your Google feed from working. I had never heard this and was surprised since I have always used all CAPS in my title to take up more space. When I went to do a little research I found that eBay tells you not to use all CAPS. I don't know if this has always been there or not. Since my products have shown up on Google in the past with all CAPS and most are not now showing I went to Google to do some research. I didn't find where it said not to use all CAPS but did find something even more interesting. Here is a screen shot of what I found:

If you will notice in the second line from the bottom it plainly states one of the most common reasons for items to be disapproved is "You've included promotional text (e.g., free shipping!) in your items' titles or descriptions."

So, on one hand eBay urges us to use free shipping. On the other hand if we do and tell anyone our items will not likely show on Google.

Is it just me or is all of this a little confusing?
