#55 Top Rated Seller Tip-Be very careful when re listing items on eBay
For years I have followed the same done every eBay listing the same way. I put th item up for auction. If it does not sell I put it up for auction again. If it does not sell the second time I put it in my store.
I do not use any software to do this. I use the SYI form to create the listings and use the unsold item list to relist my items. I have to be very careful when moving them to my store or I will be charged for features I never intended to buy. Below is a screen shot of some items I was going to relist in my store earlier today:

As you can see I check each box next to the item I want to relist in my store and click on the Relist as Store Inventory button at the bottom of the page.
Below is a screen shot of the next page I see:
If you notice at the bottom of the screen shot Gallery Plus is checked at an additional cost of 35¢ every 30 days. My 3¢ charge every 30 days just jumped to 38¢. I had not chosen Gallery Plus in the original listing. This happens to every listing I relist in my store inventory after having the item up for auction.
Another problem that doesn't cost me any money but is very sneaky on eBay's side is if you notice on the screen shot above that the ProPay box is not checked. It was in the original listing.
The bottom line is: If I am re listing items in my store after having them run as auctions I must check each listing closely to keep from being charged for features I never intended to buy and to make sure all of my payment options are selected?
Does this surprise me? No. If I have learned anything from dealing with eBay for over 10 years is they never do anything that is not in their best interest.
What does surprise me is how a publicly traded well known company can get by with such shenanigans and no one seems to care.

Yes, I agree, keep a very watchful eye on relisting items. Make sure you check your final price before posting. When you relist items on other venues, do you get the same scam?

I don't. I have found I can pretty much trust all the online venues except eBay
